# Submit a final result for an artifact (does not recompute classification)

> Submit a final result for an artifact. This endpoint does not recompute the bundle's classification value.
If the artifact belongs to the policy's classification rule or simple classification question, submitting it here will leave `classificationValue` stale and inconsistent with the latest results. Use `/rpc/submit-result-to-policy` instead for any artifact that may affect classification.
