# Unregister a Model

If you must modify the [Monitoring Config JSON](/cloud/platform-capabilities/features/monitoring/8-json), you can unregister the model. Make the necessary corrections to Config JSON and then [register the model](/cloud/platform-capabilities/features/monitoring/4-set-up-model-monitor/3-register-a-model) again.

1. From the navigation pane, click **Models**.

2. On the Models page, go to the model that you want to unregister.

3. Click the three vertical dots at the end of the model’s row, and click **Unregister**.

4. Click **Yes** to confirm your action. The model and its checks are removed from monitoring.
