This topic describes the architecture for a Domino deployment on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). AKS is hosted on Azure. When you deploy Domino to AKS, you must have the following services and components: A map of the Azure architecture to set up a Domino deployment Runtime platform (Azure Kubernetes Service):
A - AKS cluster deployed in three Availability Zones. The cluster must match Domino’s compatible Kubernetes versions. Nodes/instances (AKS node pools):
B - System Pool: Scales 1-3 per zone, Standard_DS4_v2.
C - Platform Pool: Scales 1-3 per zone, Standard_D8S_v4.
D - Compute Pool: Scales 0-10 per zone, Standard_D8S_v4.
E - GPU Pool: Scales 0-3 per zone, Standard_NC6s_v3. Networking:
F - Ingress load balancer. Storage:
G - Environment and model images; Azure Container Registry.
H - Storage Account; Azure Files access for shared file system; Datasets; Azure Blob API access for Project files, Logs, and Backups.
